Abstracts: The pressure vessels (i.e. cylinders or tank) are used to store fluids under pressure. Pressure vessel is container of pressure, either internal or external. This pressure may be obtained from an external source, or by the application of heat from a direct or indirect source. The fluid being stored may undergo a change of state inside the pressure vessel as in case of steam boilers or it may combine with other reagents as in a chemical plant. The pressure vessels are designed with great care because rupture of pressure vessels means an explosion which may cause loss of life and property. The material of pressure vessels may be brittle such as cast iron, or ductile such as mild steel. Pressure vessels are used in many industries hydrocarbon processing, chemical, power, and pharmaceutical, food and beverage. Understanding of design procedure and analysis of pressure vessel is complex and needs special skills and resources. For small to medium scale industries it may not be affordable and Economical to satisfy skill and resources equipment for designing of pressure vessels. Under the circumference availability of algorithm for designing may be great important availability of such algorithm will be also helpful in reducing designing time. Aspect of final year attempt will be made to prepare the algorithm base on ASME section and its verification.
