Abstracts: We have prepared project on speed control of d.c.motor using microcontroller. First, we could find problem of d.c.motor by acknowledgement and then we could try to solve problem with our opinion for the solution of that problem. After it we got an idea to make a project on “4 QUADRENT SPEED CONTROL OF DC MOTOR”. The aim of developing this project is to control the speed of DC motor. To achieve the speed control an electronic technique called Pulse Width Modulation is used which generates High and Low pulses. These pulses vary the speed in the motor. For the generation of these pulses a microcontroller (AT89c51) is used. As a microcontroller is used setting the speed ranges as per the requirement is easy which is done by changing the duty cycles time period. This project is “4 QUADRENT SPEED CONTROL OF DC MOTOR” through which we can control the speed of the d.c motor with high efficiency and the direction of the motor can also be controlled with this. This project gives a reliable, durable, accurate and efficient way of speed control of a DC motor.
