Drawbacks of E0 algorithm:
The main drawback is, if a sequence generator makes an error, it will make the whole cipher text mistake.
In software implementation , E0 algorithm is not faster.
Low credibility of PIN
Why hybrid encryption?
In order to provide high security, hybrid encryption algorithm has been proposed
Hybrid encryption algorithms are DES & RSA
DES is used for encryption of the data.
RSA is used for encryption of the key.
Advantages:
It provides high security for data transmission.
No need to transfer DES key secretly before communication.
The speed of encryption & decryption in software implementation is rapid.
No one can decrypt the message except receiver
Conclusion:
Hybrid Encryption algorithm is more secure and easier to achieve and the data transmission between Bluetooth devices are safe.
