Abstracts: Information in large organizations is often spread across numerous homegrown computer systems in different functions or organizational units. ERP, Enterprise Resource Planner, is a software architecture that facilitates the flow of information among the different functions within an enterprise. Similarly, ERP facilitates information sharing across organizational units and geographical locations. It enables decision-makers to have an enterprise-wide view of the information they need in a timely, reliable and consistent fashion. Various modules of ERP software have enabled enterprise to optimize its resources and maximize employee efforts by reducing overload works. ERP covers Inquiry Management, Invoice, financial management, timesheet management, HR, Task Allocation etc functionality. ERP has two types of users. 1. Admin, 2. Employee • Modern hand held devices such as smart phones and PDAs have become increasingly powerful in recent years. Dramatic breakthroughs in processing power along with the number of extra features included in these devices have opened the doors to a wide range of commercial possibilities. In particular, most cell phones regularly include processors comparable to PCs from only a few years ago, and internet access. With these developments, we have ANDROID, which is an operating system for mobile devices such as tablet computers. It is developed by the Open Handset Alliance led by Google. • In sales and marketing department, employees may not be in company, when survey or data analyzing task allocated to them. So, it may be tedious task to employees enter information in ERP when they come in front of PCs. It is better, if Employees can access ERP by PCs as well as by mobile. So, it would be easier to access ERP from site, home & everywhere.
