Introduction-
“Photovoltaic design Fibre” is a design photovoltaic cell using textile material, in the form of fibre , which can be processed like normal textile and used with some added advantages.

Current Voltage characteristics
The electrical performances of photovoltaic fibers were characterized in an inert argon environment inside a glove box system (MBraun). All current–voltage (I–V) characteristic of the photovoltaic devices were measured with Keithley 236 source measure unit in the dark and under simulated AM1.5 global solar conditions at an intensity of100 mW cm–2.
