Hindustan Aircraft Limited was set at Bangalore in December 1940 by Walchand Hirachand in Association with the Government of Mysore as a Private Limited company.
The Aircraft Manufacturing Programme include the Harlow Trainer & Hawk Fighter Aircraft.
The HT-2 Aircraft was Successfully developed & is used by the I.A.F for Pilot Training.
WEATHER RADAR
Used for finding weather parameters like types of cloud , density of rain , temp of atmosphere.
Detects the information arising in between the signals emitted by weather antenna and converts it into signal which is read by pilot to fly the aircraft carefully.
INTERNAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
System which are used for having communication b/w ground to air & air to air & vice versa.
It is a component part of audio selector & intercom system & it is installed in the aircraft.
It serves the purpose of intercommunication as well as monitoring call & warning signals.
ExtERNAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
This communication is used b/w Aircraft to Air traffic control (A.T.C) & Aircraft to Aircraft.
Operating frequency of HF system is 2Mhz to 30mhz.
Helps in achieving long distance communication.
Gathers information such as status of airport and condition of weather outside the plane .
AUTOMATIC DIRECTION FINDER
AN AUTOMATIC DIRECTION FINDER AUTOMATICALLY INDICATES THE DIRECTION FROM WHICH THE ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD ARRIVES AT THE ADF AERIALS.
IT PROVIDES BEARING ALONG WITH CODE RECEPTION TO IDENTIFY THE SELECTED STATION.
