Introduction
Srujan food pvt. Ltd has established his operation in 2005. That time it was small factory with only two or three products but now the entire factory is developed into a big industry and now five different products are producing in this factory.
Biscuit is product of Srujan foods pvt. Ltd. This factory is working under Parle company whose main branch is in Mumbai. Srujan foods pvt ltd works on contract basis under which they supply required product to the main branch in Mumbai and remainng products are distributed in various districts and out of Maharashtra.
The main five products are
1. Parle-G
2. Monaco
3. Marie
4. Crack Jack
5. Bourbon
Bourbon is new product and which is becoming very famous throught india.
I joined this company on 19 dec. 2011. To 4 january 2012. I learnt some primary information about biscuit production. Biscuit production process completes through following steps;
1. Mixing of raw materials such as Syrup solution, Ammonia, salt, soda and some liquid chemicals.
2. Sterilization of this mixed raw material with maida.
3. Cutting of solid mixed maida into specific shape and nameplate of specific product.
4. Heating with oven system throught long zone so that biscuit can be edible for comparatively long period.
5. Packing
Transformer
Principle:
Transformer works on the principle of mutual induction which states that “when an alternating current is flowing through the one of the winding then it induces emf in the neighboring winding according to faraday’s first law of electromagnetic induction.
Construction:
Basically transformer consist of the magnetic core of three limb .the winding is wound on the either outer sides of the core or both windings are wound on the middle limb. Magnetic core is made from laminated iron sheets to reduce eddy current losses. Because of continuous working of the transformer whole system gets heated in order to reduce the temp.cooling system is made inside the transformer.
Working:
A transformer is an electrical device which by electromagnetic induction transfers electrical energy from one circuit to another circuit at the same frequency usually with changed values of voltage and current.
When alternating voltage is connected across one of the winding called as primary winding an alternating current is flowing through this winding hence alternating flux are created which by electromagnetic induction induces emf in the other winding called as secondary winding from which we can utilize electrical energy by connecting external load across the winding.
Depending upon the number of turns in the primary and secondary winding transformers are classified as below.
1. Step up Transformer
2. Step down Transformer.
Applications:
At the generation station step up transformer are used to increase the voltage so that transmission of the electricity becomes cheap.
At the utilization of the electricity step down transformer are used to decrease voltage so that electrical instrument used in the industry or anywhere should be work safely.
