ABSTRACT
The importance of maintaining the requirement of growing technologies the concept of multitasking robot in both normal and industrial security is important factor. There are methods through which we can deal with the daily need of companies and houses. The methods which are in use now a day is totally manually operated which needs more man power. We are going to develop a new technology through which we can automate various features by this project. This project is carried over using the latest embedded technology.

In this project the input devices used are sensors. The different types of sensors used in this project are:
Gas sensor
Ir sensor TSOP-1738
Motor Driver
Line array sensor
Wireless A/V camera
SENSORS
A sensor, as the name suggests, is used to sense any type of disturbances e.g. sensors are sound sensor, temperature sensor, photo detector, PIR sensor etc. A sensor can give analog as well as digital value.
A sensor (also called detector) is a device that measures a physical quantity and converts it into a signal which can be read by an observer or by an instrument. A sensor is a device which receives and responds to a signal.
A sensor's sensitivity indicates how much the sensor's output changes when the measured quantity changes. Sensors that measure very small changes must have very high sensitivities. Sensors also have an impact on what they measure; for instance, a room temperature thermometer inserted into a hot cup of liquid cools the liquid while the liquid heats the thermometer.
Sensors need to be designed to have a small effect on what is measured; making the sensor smaller often improves this and may introduce other advantages. Technological progress allows more and more sensors to be manufactured on a microscopic scale as micro sensors using MEMS technology. In most cases, a micro sensor reaches a significantly higher speed and sensitivity compared with macroscopic approaches.
GAS SENSOR
A gas detector is a device which detects the presence of various gases within an area, usually as part of a safety system. This type of equipment is used to detect a gas leak and interface with a control system so a process can be automatically shut down. This type of device is important because there are many gases that can be harmful to organic life, such as humans or animals.
Gas detectors can be used to detect combustible, flammable and toxic gases, and oxygen depletion. This type of device is used widely in industry and can be found in a variety of locations such as on oil rigs, to monitor manufacture processes and emerging technologies such as photovoltaic. They may also be used in firefighting.
Gas detectors are usually battery operated. They transmit warnings via a series of audible and visible signals. when dangerous levels of gas vapors are detected. As detectors measure a gas concentration. As a sensor’s detection exceeds a preset alarm level, the alarm or signal will be activated. As units, gas detectors are produced as portable or stationary devices. Originally, detectors were produced to detect a single gas, but modern units may detect several toxic or combustible gases, or even a combination of both types.
