INTRODUCTION-
Warehouses are used by manufacturers, importers, exporters,
wholesalers, transport businesses, customs, etc. They are usually large plain
buildings in ndustrial areas of cities and towns and villages.
They usually have loading docks to load and unload goods from trucks.
Sometimes warehouses are designed for the loading and unloading of goods
directly from railways, airports, or seaports. They often have cranes and forklifts
for moving goods, which are usually placed on ISO standard pallets loaded into
pallet racks. A warehouse is a commercial building for storage of goods.
SAFETY AT THE SITE-

protected against physical, social, spiritual, financial, political, emotional,
occupational, psychological, educational or other types orconsequences of failure,
damage, error, accidents, harm or any other event which could be considered non-

the event or from exposure to something that causes health or economical losses.
It can include protection of people or of possessions.
FABRICATION
MANUFACTURING PROCESS IN WHICH AN ITEM IS MADE (FABRICATION) FROM RAW OR SEMI-FINSHED MATERIALS INSITED OF BEING ASSEMBLED FROM READY MADE COMPONENTS OR PARTS.
CAUSES OF WELDING DEFECTS-
0VERLAP-
The protrusion of weld metal beyond the weld toe or weld
root. It is caused by poor welding techniques and can generally be overcome by an improved weld procedure. The overlap can be repaired by grinding off excess weld metal and surface grinding smoothly to the base metal.
POROSITY-
Porosity is a collective name describing cavities or pores caused by gas and non-metallic material entrapment in molten metal during solidification . There are many causes which include contamination, inadequate shielding. unstable arc, arc gap too short and poor welding technique in general.
