SECURED SMARTPHONE BASED VIDEO ASSISTANCE FOR ALZHEIMER PATIENTS

OBJECTIVE
Providing daily assistance via INTERNET-based mobile application for patients with mild dementia.
Enabling independent living of Alzheimer patients with the aid of GPS technology.
Performance measurement of secured video streaming mobile application in cloud-based and server-based platforms.
Introducing a secured assistive application to help and care dementia patients to overcome social challenges.
LITERATURE SURVEY
1) About Alzheimer patient and they require a more efficient tool for meeting social challenges. Videos can help them a lot to meet those challenges.
2) GPS can be efficiently used in smart phones for visual navigation.
3)GPS is an efficient resource that can be used for navigation purposes and tracking location.
4) Security Scheme for the transferring data.
EXISTING SYSTEM
The Existing system aims in storing the video reminder from the caretaker on to a server and scheduling the reminder for the Dementia patient.
DRAWBACKS OF EXISTING SYSTEM
The confidential reminders regarding bank details or property issues cannot be transferred due to security issues.
The videos can be hacked by the intruders at various stages.
The security issues regarding the content of videos are not addressed.
LOCATION IDENTIFIER
Track the current location of the user i.e. identifying the latitude and longitude of the current location.
Title for the location is given by the user.
Once the name has been given by the user, the application saves the information about the location to the mobile database (sqlLite in android).
CONCLUSION
The Alzheimer can lead a normal life with the help of care takers and as well as independently with the help of Global Positioning System.
The patient can use server or cloud according to his comfort.
