Abstracts: This project deals with designing a biogas plant which focusing on Indian type. The main objective of this project is to design a biogas plant that can produce biogas with the help of solar radiation or without solar radiation. A biogas is clean and renewable form of energy source. The overall objective of carrying transparent dome type biogas plant for better performance of the tank with the help of solar radiation so, biogas generation is increased. Biogas is a sustainable fuel that stands out from other biofuels because of the major environmental and socio-economic benefits that can be achieved. The Main components of this project are: Digester tank, displacement tank, inlet and outlet pipe With help of different component like inlet pipe, outlet pipe, displacement tank, digester tank and various organic waste. The biogas is produce by anaerobic decomposition of wastes by suitable bacteria. This bacteria contains methane, carbon dioxide, H2S, H2 and N2 gases. Any organic material of animal or plant which is easily bio-degradable can be the source of biogas production. The modifications are carried out in one of the plant and the second plant is kept as a reference. So far these two biogas plants were studied for composition, yield, temperature effect; pH value of the end digestive. In this project we compare the effect of biogas production with solar radiation and without solar radiation. It has been observed that the biogas production depends strongly slurry temperature and atmospheric temperature. And also observed that physical, economic and chemical analysis of biogas and slurry has been carried out.
