STEAM TURBINE
THE 110 MW CONDENSING TURBINE IS DESIGNED DIRECTLY COUPLING WITH HYDROGEN COOLED
IT IS DESIGNATED TO OPERATE AT 146ATA PRESSURE AND 535-540ºC TEMP.
IT IS OF THREE TYPES
HIGH PRESSURE
MEDIUM PRESSUR
LOW PRESSURE
BASICALLY IT WORKS ON
STATOR:- Stationary part, comes the armature winding in which voltage is generated
Rotor:-Rotor is a rotating part,Which produces the main field flux in which supply is given. In this slots are at regular interval & parallel to the shaft on which d.c. field winding occurs.
Automatic voltage generator:- it controls the system voltage with alternator. A.V.R. at the time of sudden change of load/loss of load on the system.
D.C. EXCITOR:- Excitation means production of flux by passing current in field winding(rotor)from d.c. generator
