Abstract—Electric three wheelers are used extensively in most of the districts of Bangladesh for transportation. Despite the apparent advantages these vehicles are consuming a huge amount of energy. To provide this increasing number of energy for a developing country like Bangladesh is very difficult when it is already facing severe power crisis. Our thesis deals with the hybrid energy system to provide this required energy to charge electric three wheelers. In this paper the overall cost analysis of the hybrid system and simulations using Homer software are included. A district named Naogaon, Rajshahi Division, Bangladesh (24°32' and 25°13' north latitudes and in between 88°23' and 89°10' east longitudes) has been taken as the contextual investigate. The proposed hybrid system consists of solar and biomass energy. This investigation highlights the future advancements which can possibly expand the financial allure of such frameworks and it will reduce the power crisis of Bangladesh
INTRODUCTION
In recent years battery operated three wheelers are becoming very popular in Bangladesh. Those are playing a significant role for short distance transportation as well as become an income source for unemployed people. The number of unemployed people in Bangladesh is 7 lacks. Three wheelers reduces this unemployment problem near about 2% .But the problem is, these electric vehicles are consuming a huge amount of energy every day by charging batteries and the energy consumption is increasing day by day as the number of vehicles is increasing. Our goal of this thesis is to provide this energy by solar and biogas to reduce the pressure on our national grid and to make the electric three wheelers more efficient as well as increase the earnings of the three wheeler drivers
