Abstracts: The rapid growth of India’s urban population has put enormous strains on all transport System. Burgeoning travel demand far exceeds the limited supply of transport Infrastructure and services. Public transport, in particular, has been completely overwhelmed. Most bus and train services are overcrowded, undependable, slow, inconvenient, Uncoordinated, and dangerous. Moreover, the public ownership and operation of most public transport services has greatly reduced its productivity to generate profit. Indian cities desperately need improved and expanded public transport service. Ahmedabad is the heart of Gujarat state and one of the important city of India which also play the major role in Infrastructural development and Economy of India .The effective traffic management is the major problem for the growth and development of any city. In our project “Re-establishment and Integration of Mass Transit System of Ahmedabad” (BRTS, AMTS, GSRTC, MEGA) we have defined the problem and as per problem we have analysed the existing traffic system of Ahmedabad. We have collected the data of all the mass transit system from the websites and administration office of respective authority. We analysed and interpreted the data and come up with the best solution and also different additional ideas to make it world class system of transportation. We have considered BRTS as the main transit for internal mass transit and AMTS as the feeder buses. We have decentralised the GSRTC from the city to reduce the internal traffic.
