A case study on Gul Ahmed textile mills Pvt. Ltd
Objectives:
To know the perception of company executives regarding effect of branding of IDEAS store on sales of Gul Ahmed lawn in last decade?
To know the percentage change in quantity of sales attributed to brand IDEAS?
To compare perception of company executives and change in sales is attributed to brand IDEAS?
Since we are students of marketing and have studied branding we had a special interest in it. When we were asked to give a topic we looked around in our society and we noticed that concept of branding in textiles was new in Pakistan and much research was not carried out on it. So we decided to do a research on this topic to know the effect of branding.
Research Methodology:
Primary Data of sales would be collected from the company for last two decades. The data will be split into two i.e. 10years before branding and 10 years after.
Change in sales before and after branding would be calculated.
Questionnaire will be filled from executives regarding their perception of effect of branding on sales of Gul Ahmed Lawn and stages through which the brand has progressed to the current stage.
Results generated will be compared and a conclusion will be given.
Proposed cost of project:
Due to the nature of research and the activities involved the cost is nominal. We estimate that a total sum of Rs.2000 will be spent.
