INTRODUCTION
The project “Wireless Encryption and Decryption” deals with the practice and Study of hiding information.
The transmission and reception of data is done through RF technology i.e. one of the wireless communication technology.
The data is encrypted and decrypted by using microcontroller. The data is transmitted by using RF transmitter.
COMPONENTS DESCRIPTION
MICROCONTROLLER:
Microcontrollers as the name suggests are small controllers. They are like single chip computers that are often embedded into other systems to function as processing or controlling unit.
FEATURES:
8K Bytes of In-System Reprogrammable Flash Memory
256 x 8-bit Internal RAM
32 Programmable I/O Lines
Three 16-bit Timer/Counters
Eight Interrupt Sources
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY (LCD) :
Liquid crystal display is a type of display which used in digital watches and many portable computers.
An electric current passed through the liquid causes the crystals to align so that light cannot pass through them.
APPLICATIONS
The following are the applications of encryption and decryption
Secure messaging/mail
Secure network communications
Electronic voting
Electronic notary
Digital money or Electronic cash cards (Credit cards, ATM/ debit cards)
Data distribution
Securing mechanisms for secure ID cards
