ABSTRACT
Since, nowadays Smartphone’s are expected to have PC- like functionalities ,hardware resources such as CPU’s , memory and battery are still limited.
To solve this researchers proposed architectures to use Cloud server resource for mobile.
We propose a conceptual architecture of Android as a server platform , which enables multiple user Android applications on cloud server via network.
We show three types of multi-tenant architectures for an Android server platform and dicuss the direction to it to reality.
ORIGIN
The underlying concept of cloud computing dates back to 1960, when John
McCarthy opened that “computation may someday be organised as
a public utility”, indeed it shares characteristics with service bureaus that date
To the 1960’s.
INTRODUCTION
The number of Smartphone users and mobile applications are growing rapidly.
There are several types of Mobile Operating System ( OSS ), such as symbian ,
I OS, windows mobile.
Android is an open-source mobile OS initiated by Google.
The main reason to use Android as a server is that it is able to run not only for
Smartphone’s but also for the x86 platform including servers.

MOTIVATION
Mobile Application platform as a cloud server
Multi-tenancy for Android
RELATED WORK
The outline in allowing the mobile users to seamlessly use nearby
Computers to obtain cloud computing resources by instantiating a
“cloudlet” that rapidly synthesizes virtual machines on a nearby
Infrastructure by using a wireless LAN.
DISADVANTAGE
Continuous net connection is very important.
Thus , battery life will be less.
But due to the advancement , battery life can be increased and it can be well
Used according to the need of users.
CONCLUSION
In this paper, we proposed Android as a Server Platform system which enables
the server-side Android OS among multiple users and helps to use applications
without installation.
