Abstracts: In the contemporary world, we require an automated system which facilitates safety, accuracy, efficiency and speed in many industries. In my project I have taken food industry in particular where I am showing the preparation process of FLAVORED YOGHURT. It has 3 main ingredients-curd, flavors and preservatives which are mixed together in a batch. An automatic batching system is any system where an input is provided and a PLC carries out a process that produces an output which is displayed through HMI as a GUI. In the modern era automation has an over-shadowed manual work and is booming rapidly. Automation leads to time saving and also reduces man power. By automation we can also reduce the manual work and increase the accuracy. In certain industrial processes there is always need of mixing the liquids with required quantity. So we decided to make PLC controlled system which is able to solve this problem automatically. In order to solve this project, we have used Programmable Logic Controller, Human Machine Interface, Solenoid Valve, Float Switch and Bins which contains liquids. After selecting the input from HMI, PLC generates counts according to given input. Then PLC sends these signals to the solenoid valve through the switching circuit. So liquid starts flowing through solenoid valve which will be collected in the bucket and mixed.
