Abstracts: It is said in scriptures that feeding someone is most pious, thus we came with an idea of an effective “Food Delivery Portal” named “Feefaafoo.com”. Feefaafoo is a web based application, created in ASP .NET as frontend and SQL SERVER 2008 R2 as back end in windows operating system. The website allows customers to accumulate list of restaurants for ordering food, described metaphorically as “placing items into the cart” or “adding them to cart”. On checkout, the website typically calculates a total for the order, including shipping and handling (i.e. postage and packing) charges and the associated taxes, as applicable. Feefaafoo is not only affiliated with only one restaurant there are number of restaurants which registered on the website itself. Ironically it can be said that it works as an agent between restaurants and consumers without any charge. The main aim of the portal is to improve the services of Customers and Vendors. It maintains the details of customer payments, product receipts, addition of new customers, products and also updating, deletion for the same. It also mails the details of users which have logged in the food delivery portal to the email id which they have given during the registry. Food delivery portal is the process whereby consumers directly orders food, from a restaurants interactively in real-time with an intermediary service over the internet. Food delivery portal is the process of ordering food from restaurants who are affiliated with the site. Since the emergence of the World Wide Web, restaurants have sought to sell their products to people who surf the Internet. Shoppers can visit portal from the comfort of their homes and order food as they sit in front of the computer. Consumers order a variety of food from online food portal. In fact, people can order just about anything from restaurants that are affiliated online. Pizza, Thai, Continental dishes, Indian thali, South Indian are just some of the hundreds of dishes consumers can buy from an online store.
