Achieving Secure Video Conferencing in e-Governance
Abstract:
Government is nowadays trying to improve efficiency using technologies from IT industry to stimulate its processes more efficiently, faster, and secure. It is the orientation of e-Governance. In e-governance applications, the government can organize secure video conferencing to solve various judicial cases, to provide telemedicine and diagnosis in rural area where specialist medical help does not exist. In this paper we provide a new method for achieving a secure video conferencing based on Henon Chaotic system as well as based on selecting the specific DCT components from each video frame. This method is more efficient, required less computational resources, and more secured.
