When the knob of the valve is on, the compressed air from the compressor is rushes into the cylinder on the extreme left side and exerts the force on the piston. The piston moves towards right side and die is adjusted on the table. After that when the second knob of the valve is on, the compressed air from the compressor rushes into cylinder from upper portion and exerts a downward force which is transferred to the punch by piston rod. When the punch makes an impact on the material a river head is made. When the valve is released the air is release in the atmosphere the piston rod is moves upward with the punch when the air first valve is released the air is exhaust in atmosphere the piston rod moves away from the fixed support of die and we can obtain rivet very easily.
