Input Device
The Input devices are hardware that allows us to put information into a computer and enable us to provide the means of communication between the computer and the outer world. It is defined as electomechanical device that allows the user to feed information into the computer for analysis, storage and to give commands to the computer.
Keyboard
Used to type text and execute command.
It is designed to resemble a regular typewriter with few additional keys.
Data is entered into a computer by simply pressing various keys.
Mouse
It is a small hand held pointing device, which is rectangular shape with a rubber ball embedded at its lower side and buttons on the top.
Used to communicate with the computer by pointing to locations on the monitors screen.
Printer
Produce a hard copy version of processed data such as documents and photographs.
Printer is the art of moving ink from one place to another.
Printer takes ink from a reservoir and deposits in on paper or some other medium in patterns determined by the computer.
