ABSTRACT:Health care related apps are numerous, and more seem to surface each week, as more people use smart phones and tablets, and more pharmacies and drug companies discover their usefulness. Some of the health-oriented apps that already exist are up to their third and fourth versions as bugs are smoothed out and more features are added. As happened with computers, software programs, and communication technology, there will probably be a shakeout period as some less-than-successful apps or whole phone operating systems start to fall by the wayside. Our Proposed System Mainly focused on comprehensive prescription/medication compliance and tracking system designed to help individuals and caretakers and Health care monitoring system is more helpful for patients.
INTRODUCTION:
Android based medical prescription and health care system is powerful, flexible and easy to use and is designed and developed to deliver real conceivable benefits to hospitals and clinics and more importantly it is backed by reliable and dependable.
The proposed system is designed for multi speciality hospitals, to cover a wide range of hospital administration and management processes. It is an integrated end -to -end Hospital Management System that provides relevant information across the hospital to support effective decision making for patient care, hospital administration and critical financial accounting, in a seamless flow.
The Proposed system is a software and application product suite designed to improve the quality and management of clinical care and hospital health care management in the areas of clinical process analysis and activity-based costing. It enables you to develop your organization and improve its effectiveness and quality of work.Managing the key processes efficiently is critical to success of hospital helps you manage your processes.
Day by day the number of patients are increasing, and many advanced
technologies are also came to existence. Today mobile phones are becoming more technologically advanced and offer more
features. Smart phone can run application and can access the internet directly. The reason smart phone can run applications because the phone have CPU, Memory and all other stuffs that allow PCs to do the same thing. The mobile Operating System (OS) used by modern smart phone include Android, BlackBerry, IOS and Symbian, Which are the world best mobile operating system. There are many differences between their features and performances.
We are going to develop two applications, Web application and Android application. The web application is mainly for Admin side, here we mainly focus on comprehensive prescription/medication compliance and tracking system designed to help individuals and it also includes the registration of patients, storing their details in to the system. The admin can also add data into the database. The data can be retrieved easily. The data will be protected for personal uses and makes the data processing very fast. The admin side also consists of Blood donor and Organ donor details. In this the blood group of the donor will be available and the type of the organ that they are going to donate will be also available. We are providing prescription notification to the patients.
As we go to the android application, here we mainly focuses on the patient side, The patients can view their details using the unique id and password given to them through their android device and they can also change their profile like address, phone number, etc.The medicine notification that is given by the admin can be received through the application. The patients can be able to receive notification on time, so that they can have medicines properly. The patient can view the doctor details to which they are belonging to. Patients can also view the medical and medicine details.
1. EXISTING SYSTEM:
In Existing System, Patient Information’s are stored in Computer or Cloud which can only accessible by Doctors, Nurse and Receptionist, But Patient can’t able to access their information and prescription details whenever they needed.Hospitals currently use a manual system for the management and maintenance of critical information. The current system requires numerous paper forms with data stores spread through the hospital management infrastructure often information’s (on forms) is incomplete or does not follow management standards. Forms are often lost in transit between departments requiring a comprehensive auditing process to ensure that no vital information is lost. Multiple copies of the same information exist in the hospital and may lead to inconsistencies in data in various data store.
2. PROPOSED SYSTEM:
Developing a system is feasible if and only if it is beneficial and removes all the drawbacks of the existing system and also enhances the way of operation to make the operation performing easy. The user should be satisfied with its functionality, if system does not fulfill its requirement then developing that system would be futile. Our basic aim is to develop the android based medical and health care assistance is to improve its functionality and removes all the drawbacks of the existing system.
Our Proposed system primarily focused and designed for Hospital and Patients. This proposed system provides Medical Prescription details and Health Care Notifications to Patient. In this system, a comprehensive prescription/medication compliance and tracking system designed to help individuals and caretakers manage the challenges of staying on time up to date and on schedule with very simple to very complex regimes.
3. SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
1. ADMIN REGISTRATION AND LOGIN MODULE:
In this module create the authenticated user for admin module. There are different user in this module. The users are Admin, Doctor, Nurse and Receptionist. The user that contains the following information name, qualification and specialist. This module generate the user’s unique id and password for login module. The system can also handle fixed-cost package deals for patients as well as doctor consultation and scheduling, doctor consultancy fees and time allocation.
2. PATIENT REGISTRATION AND LOGIN MODULE:
In this module the admin is register the new patient details and generate the patient unique id and password. And the unique id and password is used to patient login in front end. This helps in implementing customer relationship management and also maintains medical history of the patients. The module helps the registering information about patient and handling both IPD and OPD patientsquery.
3. PRESCRIPTION MODULE:
In this module have medicines details like medicine name, number of tablets, timing (morning, afternoon and night) and type of medicine (after food or before food).
And the medicine are mapping to perspective medical shops for patients to find the medical shops without searching.
4. BLOOD DONOR MODULE:
In this module have the donor name, contact details and blood group. And this module has what are the blood groups available in this hospital.
5. ORGAN DONOR MODULE:
In this module have the donor name, contact details, organ details and blood group.
And this module has what are the organs available in this hospital.
7. FUTURE ENHANCEMENT:
The application avoids the manual work and the problems concern with it. It is an easy way to obtain the information regarding the various hospital services that are present in our system. Well, I and my team members have worked hard in order to present an improved website and android application better than the existing one’s regarding the information about the various activities. Still, we found out that the project can be done in a better way. Primarily in the system patient login and then go to reception. By this the patient will send request for consulting the doctor. Reception will set the date for doctor appointments and see the patients.
