Abstracts: This project introduces use of automation and control for water distribution in canal. It contains a demo working model of water distribution of canals in different zones like Agricultural zones, Industrial zones, Residential areas etc. PLC is a controlling elements of the model by which all the operations are controlled. SCADA represent a graphical monitoring and give system a facility to control parameters. The system can be accessed and controlled from anywhere in the world via Internet. Special features for weather synchronization are attached with the model. In which according to the change in atmospheric temperature distribution of water is controlled. Moisture levels of agricultural soils are maintained automatically by system. Also rain fallen in agricultural zone is detected by rain level sensors. And as per rain level and temperature detected in agricultural zone water quantity distribution varies. Industrial areas work on Gsm-Sms based facility. In this facility user sends message to system daily as per their requirement, and it is analyzed by plc and water is distributed to that particular industry. At the end of month billing report is automatically send to industry by system.
