Abstracts: “Automation in precise powder filling”, In an open loop system when a powder is filled in a container at that time a screw auger is rotated while filling ,but it doesn’t give any precise work and creates some error in filling. So, we decided to have a close loop system for precise work. By knowing the problem we decided to give screw agar to be rotated with speed variation in shaft by using SERVOMOTOR and will vary speed of motor using servo drive and using LOAD CELL as a feedback with help of PLC Now a load cell will be placed on a platform on which container is placed for powder filling as well as a continuous feedback of filling a powder will be feeded through weighing by using load cell .Initially shaft will rotate at one speed and when filled powder value reaches nearer to set value it will automatically reduce speed and finally when reaches to set value it will stop process. Similarly process will repeat. Finally it will give a precise volume of powder in container and will reduce variation of powder filling in container after all it will save a high value powder and will increase productivity.
