ABSTRACT
Wireless mesh network is nothing but the ad-hoc network but its need gateway to get the data from another network like internet to local network. In our base model, researcher only considered the static wireless mesh network. That meaning is fixed environment.
In our proposed model, we are implementing this concept in MANET, because of WMN has less mobility such as less than 1m/s so link break chances is very less but in MANET there is more mobility, so link break chances are more. In such a environment DSDV won’t work perfectly but AODV works better than DSDV. So we propose the system in MANET with Hybrid-AODV routing
introduction
A Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of wireless mobile nodes forming a temporary network without using any centralized access point, infrastructure, or centralized administration.
Mobile Ad-hoc networks are self-organizing and self-configuring multihop wireless networks where, the structure of the network changes dynamically.
Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) are becoming more essential to wireless communications due to growing popularity of mobile devices.
DSDV: Destination Sequence Distance Vector
Every node maintains a routing table in which the information of all possible destinations recorded.
The tables are exchanged between neighbors at regular intervals to keep an up to date view of the network topology.
This exchange of table imposes a large overhead on the whole network
AODV: Ad-hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing
Nodes (not on a selected path) don’t maintain routing information or participate in routing table exchanges.
Instead of source routing, AODV relies on dynamically establishing route table entries at intermediate node.
Hybrid aodv
The tables are exchanged between neighbors at regular intervals to keep an up to date view of the network topology.
Hybrid AODV relies on dynamically establishing route table entries at intermediate node
Reconfigure in hybrid aodv
If link fails the intermediate node sends the information to source node dynamicaly.
Same as in dsdv, source node it self allocates the channel to all the nodes.
Self aodv
Hello message is sent in the network to all nodes.
Introducing ars in every node in hybrid aodv gives self aodv
If the link fails it reconfigure with the help of ars module
