ABSTRACT
Children often fall down in the bore well which have been left uncovered and get trapped.
The rescue of these trapped children is not only difficult but also risky. A small delay in the rescue can cost the child his or her life. To lift the child out of the narrow confines of the bore wells is also not very easy. The child who has suffered the trauma of the fall and is confined to a small area where, with a passage of time the supply of oxygen also reduces. Robot for bore well rescue offers a solution to these kinds of situations. It is fast, economical and safe. Moreover, it has the facility to monitor the trapped child, supply oxygen and provide a supporting platform to lift the child up.
ROBOTIC ARMS
Once the lifting rod reaches a safe position above the child, the robotic arms which is made of fiber expands and contracts and provides a safe seating to the child. When the child is secure, the lifting rod is contracted to its maximum position. Simultaneously it is lifted out of the well using a chain or rope
LED
Since it is dark in the bore well, to provide the necessary lighting for the camera to monitor the position of the child ordinary high voltage bulbs were used. But these bulbs proved to be fatal to the children as it produces heat and also causes eye irritation sometimes even abnormal physiologies conditions. To overcome this problem we have used LED which doesn’t cause any kind of abnormalities
CAMERA
The camera that we have used here is a HD advanced camera which consists of 3 sliding lenses. On approaching the target,
dust particles will settle on the first lens, immediately the first lens closes and the second one opens providing a better vision and it goes on with the third lens.
It contains software, to which when an image of an object is fed, it analyses the dimensions of the object.
MOTOR
The motor that we have used to control the robot is highly efficient DC motor. The motor is shock proof with fully closed insulated components and it is also water proof
Conclusion
This particular idea is quite effective and economical by implementing this particular idea we can save many life
And necessary steps should be taken by the GOVERNMENT to cover the uncovered borewell pits
