Abstracts: The comparatives performance Study of piston material Al-Si MMCS has been examine. In this proposed study composite material will be experimentally investigated under varying load, sliding velocity with respect to constant time duration using pin on disc type wear tester The extent of wear damage was estimated by means of weight loss techniques. The cylindrical shaped Pin specimens contacting against rotating Disc which is made of EN series of Steel material. Influence of all of three parameter on the wear of the metal matrix composite (MMC) under dry sliding condition has been investigated. A Design of experiment based on one of the following techniques. 1) Full factorial method 2) Taguchi technique 3) Surface response methodology Was performing to acquire data controlled way. An orthogonal array and analysis of variance (ANOVA) was employee to investigate to the influence process parameter on the wear of this metal matrix composite (MMC).By the ANOVA, we will do theoretical comparison between our result and MINI TAB software. The parametric Co- relation obtained by regression with MINI TAB software finally conformation test were evaluated that error associated with the wear of piston material Al-Si MMCS has been Analyzed.
