INTRODUCTION:
In the modern world, at the age of computers and electronics, most of the countries
are very much developed due to the high technology they used. But it still needs the technical revolution for the developing countries like India. The country can't become the competitive one until and unless the technology fits with all the working fields. In this competitive world it is almost necessary to uplift our country in order to exist.
PROJECT INTRODUCTION:
Generally, most of the switches are made to operate manually. But as the name of
the project is "Darkness Controlled Light Switch System", it operates automatically with the intensity of light. A light activated switch depends upon the intensity of electromagnetic radiation of the visible range. This requires the electronic devices that are sensitive towards the light of even low intensity. Such electronic devices are called optoelectronic devices. Optoelectronic devices are the electronic devices that perform in the presence of light. It contains LDR, which hardly depends upon the intensity of the light.
LDR:
A photoresistor or lightdependentresistor (LDR) is a resistor whose resistance decreases with increasing incident light intensity. It can also be referred to as a photoconductor or CdS device (from "cadmium sulfide," which is the material from which the device is made and that actually exhibits the variation in resistance with light level. Note that CdS is not a semiconductor in the usual sense of the word (not doped silicon).
CONCLUSION:
The final prototype of our project is constructed which works with the minimum
Supply of 12 volts. During the project we learned many electrical and electronics’
Components as well as to work in groups. We are now able to understand the need for proper planning and organized actions and we hope that this project will help us in our near future.
