To utilize the inward power effectively, it has to be distributed accurately. Basically the incoming power distributed according to the need of actual field area. In this project our overall aim is to design the ideal distribution system as per the Basic engineering design, IS&BS Standards and client’s requirements. Our first approach is towards the formation of the design base including prior conversation with client which covers almost all the aspect of project. Once the design base is formed subsequently we proceed towards the shortening of the Electrical load from the load sheet provided by the client with precise calculation of load. According to the physical situation of load on field, the subsequent task is to decide the number of panels & panel wise load distribution through which the whole design process started. First and foremost specification for the different Electrical Equipments are to be considered as it’s the most useful details from the client point of view, like Specification for MV Switchgear, HT Cable, LT cable, Power transformer, HV switchboard etc. Now sizing & selection of Electrical Equipments as per the different IS Standard would be the next step. So with the accumulation of all information, panel is designed by single line diagram with the use of AUTOCAD software. During the process of the design continuous revision has been made as per the additional change by the client. After the completion of the design, Single line diagrams for panels, specifications and all relevant data required for the erection of distribution system are forwarded.
