ABSTRACT
This project attempts to design a simple yet efficient way to buff the given drilled work piece using pneumatically operated buffing machine.
Care has been taken to design the apparatus.
Simple to design and yet possessing a high degree of efficiency.
This project can be designed with easily available tools and can be used to augment the existing conventional buffing machine used in workshops and industries.
EXPERIMENTAL PLAN
A fluid power system with a pump with driven by a prime mover such as electrical motor that converts mechanical energy into fluid energy.
Cylinder(pneumatic):provides force in a liner fashion.
Motor(pneumatic):provide continuous motion.
Rotary accumulator: provide rotational motion less than 360 degree.
ADVANTAGE
Pneumatic motor can be also used in volatile atmosphere since they do not require electric power.
Pneumatic motor can be operate without the need of auxiliary speed reduces.
They generally have a higher density.
Pneumatic motor generates only less heat.
Pneumatic motor can with stand full load for indefinite period of time
