DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ERUDITE SPOT
ABSTRACT:
A website is a collection of web pages, images, videos and other digital assets that is hosted on one or several web server, usually accessible via the internet, cell phone or a LAN. We can access using common URL called home page.
A website requires attractive design which contains links and images, which enables a browser to easily access the properties of site.
The website which is being developed for our college is in order to make it as attractive and dynamic as possible. Compared to the existing site some extra features have been added to our project.
The features of the project are as follows:
The home page contains several information about the site like campus, management, facilities etc.
User login module helps the user to login to the site. For that he/she must type the ID correctly to view the consolidated marks-sheet.
The attendance percentage and internal assessment marks can also be viewed by user.
The administrator can use the site to send the placement details to the students through mails.
EXISTING SYSTEM:
The existing college website is static which makes it less interactive. It does not have database connectivity. Moreover student did not have an access to the details of the college through the site; hence they were not updated about the placement drives.
DISADVANTAGES:
• Existing site is static.
• Not possible to get consolidated marks-sheet.
• Placement drives are not updated to the students.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
In order to make the site dynamic and more interactive we have tried to include a database link to our college website. The administrator updates the placement details .The attendance percentage and internal assessment marks are provided and also consolidated marks-sheet can be viewed.
ADVANTAGES:
• Using this site parents can periodically monitor their children academic performance.
• Students can get information about placement drives through mails.
• Students can also get information about their internal assessment marks and attendance percentage.

1. HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:
Processor: Pentium 4 and above.
Hard Disk: 40GB
RAM: 128MB
2. SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
Operating System: Windows Xp.
Coding Languages: XHTML, Java Script, JSP, AJAX, PHP.
Database: MYSQL.
