Abstracts: Resistance spot welding is a process in which contacting metal surfaces are joined by the heat obtained from resistance to electric current. Work-pieces are held together under pressure exerted by electrodes. The process uses two shaped copper alloy electrodes to concentrate welding current into a small "spot" and to simultaneously clamp the sheets together. Conventional spot welding machine are so big in size and its operation being more difficult during making a job and this kind of resistance spot welding machine are more expensive in the market. In advance research in this project to overcome or eliminating this problem making the design of the Resistance spot welding machine is more compact, easy and small in size. The main advantages of this spot welding machine are easy to handle, portable, efficiencent. The aim of the project is to design, manufacturing and developing the Resistance spot welding machine.
