Abstracts: With the increasing levels of technology, the efforts being put to produce any kind of work has been continuously decreasing. The efforts required in achieving the desired output can be effectively and economically be decreased by the implementation of better designs. The company “HARSH ENTERPRISE” is manufacturing equipments like power transformer radiator copper flexible, fabrication of tank and accessories. Among them, one of the product’s part manufactured is Power Transformer Radiator Fins. The heat losses are greater in the transformer so the temperature of the transformer is goes on increasing. In order to reduce the temperature Power Transformer Radiator is necessary. Therefore, the power Transformer Radiator is the essential part of the Power Transformer. Power transformer radiator consists of sections of fins. The Each section of the fin should be proper manufactured and machined to avoid undesirable results like, rusting of the solid particles remaining in the gap of section of the plates, corrosion of metals and contamination of metal due to environmental conditions, fire explosion due to mixing oil and water etc. We have studied the flow of process for manufacturing of Radiator. And we found the problem of mismatch and gap between fins. In this project our main objective is to reduce this mismatch and gap between two fins by proposing the design of machine in order to reduce the corrosion of metals, contamination of oil, contamination of metal, rusting of metal, need of rework and painting cost etc.
