Introduction to ANSYS:-
The ANSYS computer program is a large-scale multi-purpose finite element program, which may be used for solving several classes of engineering analyses.
The ANSYS include the ablity to solve static & dynamic structural analyses.
The program contains many special features which allow nonlinearities or secondary effects to be included in the solution, such as plasticity, large strain hyper elasticity, creep, swelling, large deflections, contact, stress stiffing, temperature dependency, material anisotropy & radiation.
ANSYS has been developed, other special capabilities, such as substructuring, submodeling, random vibration, kinetodynamics, free convection fluid analysis, piezoelectrics, coupled-field analysis & design optimization have been added to the program.
LOADING TYPES IN THE ANSYS PROGRAM:-
Static (or steady-state)
Transient
Harmonic
Modal
Spectrum
Buckling
Substructuring.
STEP BY STEP ANALYSIS OF PRESSURE VESSEL WHEN
A). Normal state (before winding):-
1. Go to ANASYS work bench----import the model geometry by picking IMPORT.
2. Select static structural & join to the geometry and go to model.
