DRUNKEN DRIVE INDICATOR AND VEHICULAR COLLISION PREVENTER

INTRODUCTION:
Road accidents are increasing, day by day - the causes being carelessness and rash driving. Therefore an efficient system is needed to indicate and display the drunken-drive and over speed and is further essential to take necessary controls required, so as to avoid accidents.
ABSTRACT:
The main aim of this project which we have undertaken is to prevent over speeding and drunken-drive so as to prevent vehicular collisions. This idea is mainly applicable in the roads which follow lane system. This circuit consist of IR distance sensor which can be used to determine the relative speed and reduces the speed of vehicle and an alcoholic sensor which indicates drunken drive.
FEATURES OF IR SENSOR:
High sensitivity to alcohol and small sensitivity to Benzene.Fast response and High sensitivity.Stable and long life. Simple drive circuit. Provides analog resistive output
EXPLAINATION:
The block diagram of IR sensor consist of a programmable storage device which is used to store the relative speed of the vehicle.With respect the output of IR sensor,the speed of the vehicle can be controlled.The speed limit is always indicated with the help of an LCD display.
ADVANTAGES:
The earlier version of ‘Vehicle collision Preventer’ uses RADAR technology and viberation alert system which does not suit for real time application. This circuit is easy to implement and is cost effective
