Dental Treatment
Dental treatment is treatment carried out by a dental practitioner including examinations, fillings (where appropriate), crowns, extractions and surgery excluding any form of cosmetic
surgery/implants.
- Major dental surgeries such as maxillo facial surgery are covered under Hospitalisation, if necessitated by accident and hospitalisation is for more than 24 hours. However, cosmetic surgeries and tooth implants are not covered under the scheme.
- Expenses for extraction, fillings, medicines, consultants’ fees, root canal expenses and x-rays only are reimbursed only under Domiciliary.
- Case summary (date wise treatment details) or x-ray films are mandatory to process any dental claim.
