Human beings have a limit to their physical capabilities. There is a limit to maximum weight that a man can pick and carry with ease. To enhance the natural capability of a human body using a powered suit scientifically called exoskeleton is the central idea of the project. To present the idea a prototype of a wearable robotic arm is being designed. The project deals with study of human body dynamics , analysis of force distribution, spatial motion of arm and accordingly designing the solid links and its joints that can move freely and also assist human arm. Fluid power would augment the muscle power. Design of fluid power equipment hydraulic cylinder and positioning at proper points. The whole system has to work simultaneously and with proper coordination, for this a electronic system containing sensors that would interpret hand movements, a embedded computers and a array of actuators that would assist complex human arm movements will also be designed.
