Usually most of industries use different machines for the purpose of Pick And Place Mechanism’s. But the growing need of industry with each passing day demands of better and more efficient ways of carrying out the purpose of task. Thus, the development of Pneumatic Pick And Place Mechanism that made the tedious task easier and also reduces the consumption of time and dependence upon manual labor.
Expected Outcome
The new mechanism aims at resolving the limitations of the previous design by allowing the Pick and Place mechanism on all kinds of materials including glass. The universal cups used in the new design would also allow lifting of glass with curvature and there by improve the functionality of the same.
The automation of the mechanism reduces consumption of time as well as no manual labor is then required to carry on the task.
The weight lifting capacity of the system may increase at up to 25kg.
Conclusion
We believe that the change in designs would render the lifting capacity of the pick and place mechanism. It would also enable the mechanism to lift other materials apart from glass and not only flat surfaces but curved surfaces at the same time. We also aim at increasing the lifting capacity of the vacuum cups and using universal vacuum cups that would be more feasible for the peculiar system.
