Introduction
A library for storage of documents and media related to Nutrition in the digitized manner.
Mission is to provide reliable, long-term access to managed digital resources.
It provides access to digital resources for its designated community, now & in the future.
About Digital Library
It is a specialized digital asset management/Institutional Repository system.
Supports long-term preservation of digital material.
To allow creation, indexing and searching of metadata.
Enables to capture and describe digital works using a custom submission workflow module.
Distributes digital works over the web through a search and retrieval system.

Features
Preservation:
"bit preservation", where a digital file is carefully preserved exactly as it was created without the slightest change (“Known” & “Un-Supported Format”).
"functional preservation", where the digital file is kept useable as technology formats, media, and paradigms evolve (“Supported Format).
Architecture
The Digital Library architecture is a straightforward three-layer architecture, including storage, business, and application layers, each with a documented API to allow for future customization and enhancement.
The storage layer is implemented using the file system, as managed by Postgre SQL database tables.
User Registration
Enter your “EMAIL Address” and click Register.
A verification mail will be sent to the email address provided.
Click the link given in the mail, which took you to the registration page.
Enter the details and complete registration.
After successful registration, you can login to the system.
Forgot Password
Go to Login page
Click the link “Have you forgotten your password”.
Enter you email address that you have registered with the system and click “I forgot my password” button.
An email will be sent to you consisting of link to change your password.
Click the link and enter details and Click “Set New Password” button.
New Submission
Click “Start a New Submission” button.
The next page asks you to choose a collection from the list where the submission needs to be posted.
Then follow the steps and finish the new submission.
It will be sent to administrator or collection moderator for approval.
Approve Submission
To approve a submission, click “Take task” button in any one of the submission from “Tasks in the Pool” list.
Then you can preview the submission. If you accept that submission click “Accept this task” else click “Cancel”.
Then you can Approve or Reject this task.
