Introduction
E-Cultivation is an online repository of all types of cultivation, necessary methods of cultivation, investment and gain and risk and how to come out from this.
By the help of this E-project, the farmers can directly communicate to the experts, can register their complaints and get aware of new techniques of farming, irrigation problem or actions to be taken during natural disasters since recent updates will be available there.
These details can be acquired by the awareness of farmers/cultivators through kiosks placed in Panchayat or block office.
Reason for choosing
Currently, India holds the second position in agricultural production in the world.
Although technologies have been improved and advanced in every field now-a-days, but still the farmers are not able to access and utilize the same.
The main problem exists at the medium of communication between the cultivators and the experts be it during receiving advices for new techniques of farming, irrigation problem or during natural calamities.
To overcome and cope with this problem we are proposing and developing an E- project that solely aims on the purpose of helping and suggesting the farmers/ cultivators for better cultivation.
Survey Report
In order to know the requirement of the project, we conducted a survey including questionnaires to the farmers and the agricultural department.
From the survey, it came to light that most of the farmers are quite unaware and uninformed about the services available to them by the government and the department and the farmers that are aware of this do not take this thinking this as useless and not helpful to them.
The agricultural department organizes and provides a lot of services for the farmers like:
Installing training centers .
Planning to educate the farmers.
Doing frequent field visits of the farmers.
Ph testing.
Organizing exhibitions/melas like Annual Kishan Mela, etc.
