ELECTRO MAGNETIC BREAKING SYSTEM
ELECTRO MAGNETIC.pptx (Size: 100.49 KB / Downloads: 61)
SYNOPSIS:
In this project we are designed in electromagnetic braking system. it is using for accident avoiding system in vehicles.
Electromagnetic brakes have been used as supplementary retardation equipment in addition to the regular friction brakes on heavy vehicles. We outline the general principles of regular brakes and several alternative retardation techniques in this section. The working principle and characteristics of electromagnetic brakes are then highlighted.
Advantages:
With the holding torque provided by an electromagnetic brake motor, you will be able to hold vertical loads in place such as on your new efficient ball screw. The electromagnetic brake is power-off activated, so it can also act as a safety device to minimize injuries or damages by holding the load in place during a power failure. If you were to use a regular motor without an electromagnetic brake on a lifting application with your new ball screw, and the power fails, your load will drop unexpectedly.
