The continuous and comprehensive evaluation will be spread over the year and two
assessments will be made during the year. Each assessment will include four activities
(debate, drama, project, poem recitation, quiz, role play, educational tour, group activity,
Charts, PSA etc.), five class tests and assignment of 10 marks each.
First Assessment - April, May, July, August, September
Second Assessment – October, November, December, January, February
The focus should be on identifying the talents of the learner and to empower them with
positive inputs. No negative observation shall be made in the assessment format.
EXAMINATION SYSTEM FOR VI to X
First Term: FA1 (10%) + FA2 (10%) + SA1 (30%) = 50%
Second Term: FA3 (10%) + FA4 (10%) + SA2 (30%) = 50%

FA 1 (April –May) (45 marks each subject)
FA1 (10%) will be in the month of April and May in the form of activities. There
will be two activities per Subject. Activity will be of 10 marks each and 10 marks
will be for H.W./C.W., class test and 5 marks for assignment. Parameters for
different activities will be different
