Abstracts: In this study, the influence of cutting parameters namely cutting speed and depth of cut at 100°C, 200°C and 300°C hot turning of 316 stainless steel on surface roughness are studied. The optimum results can be achieved in the experimental study by employing DOE (Design of Experiment) method. Combined effect of cutting parameters on surface roughness are investigated by design of Experiment method. At the end optimal cutting parameters are obtained.
