Abstracts: Transformer is very important equipment in the power system. It is required to design and analyze them as far as their efficient and reliable operation is concern. Now-a-days numerical techniques are used to design and analyze the electrical products. From the obtained result of these techniques it is easy to predict about the field distribution, material used their effective geometry, etc This project is basically relates to electromagnetic analysis of transformer. So that effect of the electromagnetic filed on the various part of transformer are analyze. Also makes changes in different configuration and materials and then study the effect of electromagnetic field. In this project different parameter like permeability, geometry, etc. are varied and their effect is studied. This project uses FEM technique software for analysis. Numerical field solutions may be used to determine the electrical equivalent circuit parameters of transformers. The lumped elements of the equivalent circuit correspond to the various physical phenomena in the transformer. The study introduces the sequence of operations necessary to evaluate the parameters of the conventional T-shaped transformer equivalent circuit by means of the numerically simulated open- and short-circuit tests.
