ABSTRACT
An energy saving system able to optimize power management and energy efficiency of an home heating plant is proposed. Interface and control architecture based on Zigbee wireless devices, a continuous control of temperature is warranted making efficient the heating plant. The system uses a sensor and actuator combination to control and guarantee the desired system parameters; the information is transferred point-by-point using Zigbee communication network and it's sent to a central unit used to check the peripheral devices state and to take appropriate measures in case of failure or alarm.
USED TECHNOLOGIES:
SOFTWARE:
1. AVR Studio4 compiler
2. Proteus simulator
3. SINA Prog Programmer
HARDWARE:
1. AVR ATMEGA16
2. Zigbee
3. Temp sensor
4. Solenoid valve
5. Power supply
6. LCD
7. RTC
8. Keypad.
OPERATION:
Here I am using AVR family controller 16 as a main heart of the system which will controls and monitor the different conditions in different areas through wireless communication (Zigbee). Here I am use two different areas to monitor the temp and controlling the presser valve. This information displays on LCD across receiver section. These readings are monitored with respect to time by using function keys we can observe the different temp’s with time on LCD. Here I considered two rooms to monitor and control.
ADVANTAGE:
Here I am using atmega16 controller in the place of costly ARM and monitoring will be considered in 20x4 LCD other than that of front end application. Easy to carry the system from one place to other without using the PC monitoring.
