Environmental Preservation- Role of Stakeholders
Every person, organization, and institution has an obligation and duty to protect it. The protection & preservation of environment is a pressing issues.
Environmental protection encompasses not only pollution but also sustainable development and conservation of natural resources and the eco-system.
The environmental problems of today whether it is air, water, ozone depletion, land degradation, deforestation, destruction of eco system or mis-management of waste all damage our natural environment and life on earth.
The supreme courts orders and directions cover long range of areas whether pollution, pollution by industries, depletion of forests, illegal felling of trees, dumping of hazardous waste, pollution of rivers, illegal mining, etc.

:Industrial pollution is pollution which can be directly linked with industry, in contract to other pollution sources.
Industrial pollution hurts the environment in a range of ways, and it has a negative impact on the human lives and health.
Causes of Industrial Pollution:
Indiscriminate burning of bushes and discharge of dangerous chemicals in the environment
Industrialization is the main cause of pollution, because more industries increase than there would be more pollution itself.
Not maintaining industrial machines which create a lot of friction in machines.
Use of low quality coal.
Laws Governing Environment
The constitutional [provisions are backed by a number of laws- acts, rules and notifications.
The Environment Protection Act (EPA) 1986 came into forces after the Bhopal Gas Tragedy.
