INTRODUCTION
Man in his lifetime, uses energy in one form or the other. In fact whatever happens in nature, results, out of the conversion of energy in one form or the other. The blowing of the wind, the formation of the clouds and the flow of water are a few examples that stand testimony to this fact. Of late, erratic and perfunctory usage of energy has resulted in an energy crisis, and there is a need to develop methods of optimal utilization, which will not only ease the crisis but also preserve the environment. This project attempts to show how man has been utilizing energy and to explore prospects of optimizing the same. Researches show that the world has already had its enough shares of its energy resources. Fossil fuels pollute the environment. Nuclear energy requires careful handling of both raw as well as waste material. The focus now is shifting more and more towards the renewable sources of energy, which are essentially, nonpolluting. Energy conservation is the cheapest new source.

Discuss About Components
Air Cylinders:
Air cylinders is a device that converts power (usually from an electric motor, a diesel engine or a gasoline engine) into kinetic energy by compressing and pressurizing air, which, on command, can be released in quick bursts. There are numerous methods of air compression, divided into either positive-displacement or negative-displacement type.
Types of air compressor:
1. According to the design and principle of operation
1. Reciprocating compression
2. Rotary compression
2. According to the number of stages
1. Single stage compression
2. Multi stage compression
3. According to the pressure limits
1. Low pressure compression
2. Medium pressure compression
3. High pressure compressors
4. Super high pressure compression
4. According to the capacity
1. Low capacity compression
2. Medium capacity compression
3. High capacity compressors
According to the method of cooling
1. Air cooled compression
2. Water cooled compression
Positive-displacement air compressors work by forcing air into a chamber whose volume is reduced to compress the air. Piston-type air compressors use this principle by pumping air into an air chamber through the use of the constant motion of pistons. They use unidirectional valves to guide air into a chamber, where the air is compressed. Rotary screw compressors also use positive-displacement compression by matching two helical screws that, when turned, guide air into a chamber, the volume of which is reduced as the screws turn. Vane compressors use a slotted rotor with varied blade placement to guide air into a chamber and compress the volume
Negative-displacement air compressors include centrifugal compressors. These devices use centrifugal force generated by a spinning impeller to accelerate and then decelerate captured air, which pressurizes it.
Most air compressors either are reciprocating piston type, rotary vane or rotary screw. Centrifugal compressors are common in very large applications. There are two main types of air compressor's pumps: Oil lubed and oil-less. The oil-less system has more technical development, but they are more expensive, louder and last for less time than the oiled lube pumps. However, the air delivered has better quality.
Air gun:
Air gun is a pneumatic power operated tool, which converts the pressure energy of the compressed air into the rotary motion of the gun. The motion generating principle of the drill gun is explained in following pages.
Air gun works with the following principle. Whenever the compressed air is regulated through the air drill gun, it passes through the rotor blades. Due to the compressed air pressure on the rotor blades, this tries to rotate with respect to the valve of compressed air pressure in the storage tank.
Thus the continuous regulation of the compressed air through the air gun, will makes the rotary motion of the gun. In the collect chuck a dynamo is fitted to perform the power generation.
Dc Power Generator
An electrical Generator is a machine which converts mechanical energy (or power) into electrical energy or power.
