INTRODUCTION
Cyborg is a short term for “Cyber Organism”. The term cyborg is often applied to an organism that has enhanced ablities due to technology . The more strict definition of cyborg is almost always considered as increasing or enhancing normal capablities.
Cyborg are commonly related to human, animals
And any living thing in this world
ORIGIN OF CYBORG
Cyborgs are originated from the concept of cybernetics , which is referred to as a mixture of both organism and the technology. When an organism is half human and half machine then we call them CYBORG. The whole process of becoming a Cyborg is known as cyborgation
SOCIAL CYBORG
This term is related to social and used to describe people who has integrated social networks and information technology into the way they think, learn , and solve problem.
It is helpful to think of these people as a distinct species one that has evolved unique capablities to take advantages of networked people and information system
ROBOTS AND CYBORGS
Both of them , to some degree , are equal. They are basically computers. A robot , however , does not necessarily have to resemble a human. It describe only machine part.
• But cyborgs describe both the parts machine and human
TYPES OF CYBORG
There are two types of cyborgs :
Convenient Cyborg.
Conditional Cyborg.
The types of cyborgs are defined on the
basis of their structural and functional role play.
LATEST DEVELOPMENT
Cyborg is one of the scientific in which continuous researching and studies are taking place and spontaneous development are derived by it’s dedicated scientists .
Kevin Warwick , the famous scientists who implanted a series of 100 electrodes in to his nervous system and control his complete lab with the implant and he also developed a mechanical hand which works as per neural
LATEST TECHNOLOGY
At present cyborgology concentrate on the development of conditional cyborgs. That is living being with a mechanical body part which is replaced for the damaged or lost body part . Among them C-LEG has prime importance , it has functioning similar to our leg. These external mechanical parts works by stimulations received generated from our neural system.
APPLICATIONS
In Medical Field
In medical there are two important and different types of cyborgs –
Restorative 2. Enhanced
Restorative technologies “restore lost
function, organs and limbs” . The key aspect of
the restorative cyborg is the repair of broken or
missing processes.
IN POPULAR CULTURE:
Cyborg become a well known part of science through fiction (refer to books and stories about imaginary people and events),literature(plays , noval
referred to literatue when they are important )and other media. For example
famous organic-based fictional Cyborg include Terminator ,star war’s etc
