Abstracts: Greenhouse is playing an important role in production of out of season vegetables, flowers as well as high value of delicate plants. The major function of a greenhouse is to provide a more propitious environment than outside. Unlike what happens in conventional agriculture, where crop conditions and productivity depend on nature resources, such as climate, soil, and others, a greenhouse must guarantee production independently of climatic factors. Therefore, the mechanisms to monitor and control a greenhouse environment are very important to achieve better productivity .To obtain good productivity and quality, a better and reliable monitoring and control system is necessary. This project consists of designing & implementation of a Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) that can continuously monitor the environmental parameters inside the greenhouse. Wireless communication can be used to collect the measurements from sensor nodes and communicate between the centralized control and the actuators located to the different parts of the greenhouse. The controller communicates with the various sensor nodes in real-time in order to control the affecting parameters inside a greenhouse through relays according to the necessary condition of the crops. An integrated Liquid crystal display (LCD) is also used for real time display of data acquired from the various sensors nodes.
